The Bunny Rabbit

Here comes bunny rabbit,
Chewing on a carrot.
There goes bunny rabbit,
His broken neck in hand.

He came in to the sound of jazz.
Took it with a pinch of salt,
a side of bacon and a can of coke.

He left to a broken accordion,
a bug’s fluids, a delicate balance
tilted till it flipped and spilled.

And joined the Conservatory of the Broken,
A wingless bird, a hydrophobic fish,
a midget giraffe. He felt at home.

Ah, the room of mirrors,
Always up to something.
