Scars

Now. People speak not with their tongues
but with their bodies, throwing fire at the
crumbling walls, crying foul, crying want
it is as if a bottle has broken, the skin of patience
has ruptured. It is as if the veins have merged
in the heart of a sea and the emotions lie naked
amidst the tsunami of overturned power.
the equation is still being written and
the changing symbols, are in flux of a raving time.
