Neil Ellman

Neil Ellman lives and writes in New Jersey. He has published numerous poems in print and online journals throughout the world, as well as in five chapbooks. He is particularly fond of ekphrastic poetry based on works of modern and contemporary art, and also short, concise poetic statements.

Windows IV

Stained glass angels
And saints
Pray for the rising sun
To give them color
And life again.

Windows VII

At the sill
I count the passersby
Not knowing
Who they are
Why they pass
Nor who I am.
